East Oxford Primary School

Nursery

At East Oxford Primary School, we recognise that every child is unique and that they learn and develop in different ways and at different rates. Accessing to high quality Early Years' provision is key to enabling children to develop their language and social skills prior to starting school.

Parents are able to access a Nursery place from the start of the term after their child's third birthday. As a school Nursery, your child will work with a qualified teacher from the day they start. They plan high quality play activities based around all the EYFS areas for development.

Our Nursery sessions currently run from 8.30-11.30am or 12.30-3.30pm five days a week.

All children are entitled to 15 hours of free Nursery provision. Some working families are entitled to an additional 15 hours childcare per week, 30 hours of provision. Visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk to find out if this applies to you. You can also pay for extra sessions. The cost is £16.00 per day, £80 per week. We call this wraparound care.
